E45 Dry Scalp Shampoo

So I have a really dry scalp... Any normal, lovely smelling shampoos can not be used on my hair repetitively, I have to keep changing brand every other wash, as my scalp gets used to something and gets extremely dry again.  I move on, the same happens again, and then I move back.  I certainly have a large array of shampoos.

The only shampoo I can use over and over is Polytar, not sure if any of you have heard of it, but its clinical looking and stinks ....like tar, as you may have guessed??  You can usually find it around the pharmacy counter of supermarkets and Boots.  Doesn't really leave you feeling glam after a shower ...but it works!!

Unfortunatly, Boots did not have this when I went the other day, but they did have E45 Dry Scalp Shampoo!  It was pretty pricey at £5.49, considering I didn't know if it was going to work or not, but seeing as though all my other E45 products have served me pretty well, I went for it.  That and the fact it was the last one on the shelf, in my head, that meant people liked it and it worked for them lol.
200ml Bottle
I have now used this product a good few times and I have to say it is really working for me!! Its leaving my hair clear and itch free and also leaves my hair feeling gorgeous, especially teamed with Boots Coconut & Almond Conditioner (YES, more coconut!!!) which I will review separately, as I also bought the matching Shampoo, which I have yet to use.  Another reason I love this E45 shampoo is that it can be used daily, where as the Polytar is only recommended to be used 2 to 3 times a week, where my scalp can become dry in the meantime.  And of course, importantly, it doesn't really have a smell, just very neutral and great for the skin, meaning you can choose whatever scent conditioner you like and it will smell LOVELY!!

The bottle is 200ml, so similar to most other shampoo sizes, and I feel so far it is definitely worth the money!!  I would recommend this product to Polytar users and I will be buying it again!!

IN OTHER NEWS: I no longer need to be bothered about buying STEAMCREAM from the internet, as my local Tesco Extra has started selling it, in all it limited edition tin glory!!  WOOHOO!!  Just in time as I'm starting to run out!!!!!
