NOTD- Ciate jelly bean

Before I start, I have an apology, I'm sorry this is the first post in around 2 weeks, my life has been pretty hectic with uni work.  Anyway, I finally submitted that on Friday 6th and I have also been on a university placement, so any free time I have, I find myself napping!  Unfortunately, because I am on placement this will be my last NOTD for approx. 6 weeks (except for one I have saved and never wrote about from a few weeks back).
And in the middle of all this I GOT ENGAGED!!!  To my lovely boyfriend and better half, of over 5 years!!
Im considering doing a little Wedding planning blog, on the side, once I get into full swing planning/ ideas.  What do you think??  Let me know I have already bought my first bridal magazine!! (Mew!!)

So anyway, I know I'm really late with this NOTD, but they say better late than never right??! I also know that many other beauty bloggers have reviewed this extensively so I'll keep it short and sweet...

I like everyone else received this as a free gift from Marie Claire UK magazine (July 2012). This was 1 choice of 3 different colours, this one being the best it would seem from the majority of posts I have seen on the web.
After one coat
I was pretty impressed with the fact it was a full-size for a freebie to begin with!!  Until I used this, I had never tried Ciate's products before, but really wanted to.  After using Jelly Bean I will definitely be confident buying more of their products, which is a good job seeing as though I want so many!!!  Including the caviar manicure of course!!

As you can see from the picture above, which is one coat, it is practically opaque immediately!!  I initially put two coats on (which you can see on the picture below), though you can't get away without a clear top coat as it did chip quite easily to be honest.

It is a lovely bright pink, though in certain lights there is a bluey/ purple shimmer running throughout it, which unfortunately I was unable to capture.

After two coats.
The RRP of Ciate nail polishes are £9.00, which is feel is very reasonable.  They have a broad range of gorgeous colours and shades, as well and lovely nail oils and WHITE CHOCOLATE nail polish remover!!!  All sounds amazing to me, can't wait to try ....and of course, review!!!

Stay tuned for Marie Claire Magazine's August FULL-SIZED freebie review coming shortly!!  I won't leave you all too long again this time!!  .....I promise! xxx
