NOTD- OPI Stay The Night

So here is is the second instalment from the OPI Liquid Sand Mariah Carey collection, Stay the Night. I must say, with only one now unopened from the minis box, this is my favourite, though bizarrely I actually enjoy this more on my toes then my fingers!!
It is a beautiful black mixed with a pinky/ purple glitter, would look amazing teamed with an LBD, I'm just wearing is as a daily polish at the moment, its cute!!
Two coats of polish and NO top coat applied
I mentioned in my last post that I would try this range with top coat on and I finally have!!  Im not too sure why they said not to as it does no harm, it just makes the finish glossy and it no longer has a gritty texture, something Khila over at Miss Budget Beauty -Here mentioned she wasn't a fan of in her Disapointing Products #4 -Here post.  I agreed on the level of glossy though the texture didn't bother me but I applied top coat whilst watching her fab video and emailed her straight away to in form her of the results!!
With top coat applied, two days after original polish applied  (Apologies for the bad quality of photo)
One thing I am noticing with these polishes are that the glitter looses its colour, mainly after being immersed in water.  I currently have a black polish with a mixture of pink and silver glitter now, the same happened with the large pieces of glitter on 'The Impossible - Here
Though now I have found its does no harm to use top coat, this shouldn't happen much in future!

  1. I've never tried an OPI polish, I'd like to so I'll be sure to use a top coat when I do. Thanks for the advice x
